In Pittsburgh, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Pennsylvania, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11:30 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 431-0600. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Why Pages? Because family tradition beats the name brand stuff. It's hard work that spans generations BECAUSE ITS AMAZING... and the hard work and sweat and love to get it there... SHOWS. Pages staff is professional, at all ages, they are quick, they are kind, patient and NOT judgmental when you can't make up your mind. Pages goes above & beyond in the service industry & ice cream industry. It's also clean, accessible, and has options for almost everyone's tastes/diet/restrictions.. especially if you're obsessed with LOTS of toppings like me (:

Page’s is an iconic Pittsburgh ice cream stop with a long history that they have displays about on the back of the shop that you can read while you wait in line. They offer sundaes, arctic swirls, flavored soft serve, shakes, burgers, and more! Page’s embraces the Pittsburgh community in a really cool way with a lot of collaborations with local businesses. Turner’s is their milk supplier, Nancy B cookies are in sundaes and arctic swirls, and the Roaming Bean contributes cold brew for sundaes and shakes, just to name a few examples! The ice cream is very creamy, and we’ve tried a different treat every time we visit and everything is delicious. Our favorite is the turtle delight sundae with the most scrumptious, buttery pecans ever. Specialty sundaes are large enough that you can easily split them with someone, and they’re typically close to $10 in price. If getting an arctic swirl, we recommend getting a small because you get ice cream a good bit above the cup and it’s a big serving! Given the large portion sizes and locally-sourced, high quality ingredients, you’re paying a bit more than a standard soft serve ice cream shop, but Page’s is definitely above the standard experience.

We were in town for a few days and heard so many great things about this place! We came by on a Friday night but ended up leaving since it was dark and rainy and we couldn’t find parking - they’re so busy!! We tried again Saturday afternoon and were able to find parking. Waited in line maybe 15-20 minutes and less than 10 after that for our food and ice cream. It’s worth the wait! Everything was delicious and the employees are also nice and helpful even with the line being constantly wrapped around the building. The parking situation can be difficult but there’s really not much else they can do about it. Just be patient and it all works out! We got a medium birthday cake soft serve in a cone w/ rainbow sprinkles, a brownie sundae w/ oreos and whipped cream, nachos, and a freshly squeezed lemonade. No pic of the lemonade but very tasty! It’s a little less sweet than I’m used to but would order again.

I won't go anywhere else when this place is open. I normally don't like vanilla ice cream but this place has the most magical vanilla ever. It makes the sundaes the best!!! Such friendly staff too. Always busy but worth it! My daughters favorite too.

Whenever you visit there’s always a line! It was a fun experience and learning all about Page’s diary farm history. Truly the soft serve dairy free ice cream was amazing! It was truly out of this world! They managed to ace the diary free ice cream to get that thickness and consistency is commendable! It’s truly the best in Pittsburgh! Plenty of Parking space. 🅿️ Even during a long line you can still manage to find a spot. Must visit!
